Fort Whyte Ponds
« on: Dec 26, 2015, 08:37 PM »
Never ice fished this place before even though it's 5 minutes away from home. Heard that there were lots of pike in the ponds and would like to for a quick trip if I don't have a lot of time during the day.

What are the fishing and conditions like? Also are there admission fees to fish it?

Hey bud  adults are 7 dollars plus 3 dollars fishing fee so it'll cost u 10 bucks to go to fort whyte. They have pike crappie walleye sucker and rainbow trout. They also have rental equipment if u don't have all the gear.during the week there open 9 -5 weekends 10-5.iv never been but taking my kid there this afternoon.  If u go on Google type in Fort whyte and it give u all the details. It's catch and release but kids under 15 or 10 get to keep 1 fish
