hit montreal on friday headed up to timber bay and fished straight out from where you drive on and had a slower day but still did pretty good. Ended up with 16 pike 1 walley and one burbot between 4 of us. Average pike was about 6 lbs biggest being 9.6 lbs. Walleye was about 2 lbs and burbot was 7.4 lbs. Decent day good to feel some tight lines again.

You wont drive to Ferguson. 6- 10ft ice heave separating Timber Bay from the rest of the lake.
Fishing lakes in Saskatchewan since 1980, or so.

doubt you'd get out of timber bay with a truck, saw some locals trying to find a spot one night and they turned back.  fishing was slow, nothing great about a week ago.

Watch for open water around ferguson. Almost lost a sled recently. Snow was drifting over 4 foot wide crevice across lake.

Ferguson is straight out from timber bay, ice is good just watch the heaves but u will have no problem seeing them as they are huge, kinda spring like
