Shanty lights

Any of you seen those rope lghts You can buy for your shanty.  I just took some rope lights my wife had for Christmas an cut the plug off and put two clips on hooked it too a battery and bingo same thing and a lot cheaper.

I suspect you have incadescents, which will draw more current than the LED lights.  Keep an eye on how quickly they run your battery down.
