Kind of late but was just wondering if anybody was hitting the hardwater this weekend around mtl, eastern townships?
I might end up heading out to Memphremagog for some perching, always looking for a partener or willing to try some new spots.

Well went out on memphre Sunday. I was windy and cold, drove the Escape out on the ice and glad I brought my fishtrap guide with me.
The Bite was slow, caught a few smelt early moved around quite a bit and hadn't found the perch decided to make one last stop pulled everything out and said what the heck I will set a up a tip with the dead smelt I caught. Well what do you know the flag goes off and pull out a ten inch perch that hit a 5 inch smelt. Well I started to fish with my number 5 jigging raps and nailed a dozen perch on em. They didn't want the old faithful Hali jigs.
