Crappie by docks.
« on: Feb 20, 2013, 08:57 PM »
Crappies love docks. Thats where I prefer to fish. I caught a crappie and a trout right next to a dock about at the same time. Just fish 1 foot off of bottom and work your way up. Usually by docks there are rocks directly under it which provides a great structure.

Glad it works for you. I am guessing you also don't have a lot of crowds to deal with.

We don't have docks. If we do ther floating fiberglass ones. We get our fish in channels usually 20 some to over 30 ft of water all winter. That's where they will be in schools unless you have very shallow lake. They just drift around in deep basins along creek channels until spring

As soon as that sun hits the water.. All Hell is gona break loose!
Punch holes and find schools
