Humminbird software update??

Anyone done the 2.66 software update? Does it fix the issue with switching from a SLA to lithium battery and charge reading correctly?

Didn't know there was an update available. I updated mine sometime last summer. I use the LI batteries from my Milwaukee Fuel. My Helix always shows 50-75%, but I can check the battery levels with the battery gauge.

I haven't ran my H7 long enough to see if the voltage read-out is fixed. Have you noticed any other settings that were added for the 2.66?

I am having all kinds of trouble updating my H5 software. Keeps rebooting without installing the update for it.

Looks like the 2.6 update is for the Helix Ice Gen 3 models. Mine is G2 and the latest is the 2.3 update which I have.

I just updated my G2N for the first time and it was pretty painless. Just follow the directions, they are clear and good

And now I can use autochart live on the ice! Love that feature

If you don't have the correct update for your model exactly -- it won't work.

Be sure you select the correct unit. My Helix 7 is the Ice combo. I forgot. Got the correct version and now I have a better functioning unit.
