Jig rods are still on my work bench, sled still leaning against the garage next to the smitty... honestly, if there were walkable water right now I’d be able to be on it in 20 minutes. ;D
It’s funny seeing an ice rod leaning against the wall next to an 11’ surf rod.

Now that I see it in writing I’m actually kind of embarrassed at my laziness.

Feel like I get some points for being ready though ???

You’re not lazy, you’re “efficient”. Think of all the time you gained by being in a “perpetual state of readiness”. And if there’s Christmas in July you will be styling.

Post by: A. Moss Bunker on Oct 10, 2019, 07:01 PM: I think last year was the earliest I ever started my ice fishing season here in Western Worcester county; December 15th. I fished up until March 20th. Can't wait to get out again. Today I ordered another Jaw jacker and ice rod. Hopefully I wont have to wait too long to use them.
