40 degrees in Lafayette Indiana yesterday with 40 mph winds. Summit is south of me. Am I missing something? Maybe I need a new weather man.lol

Boats..waders and golf clubs!! It's over for central Indiana....no ice making weather  for the next few days and then...48* Monday and 60* Tuesday.

Add: You might be able to see ice Saturday morning....but not fishable.

Just wishful thinking, wondered if the cold nights had frozen anything. I only got to fish once this season, I'm just disappointed

You might still get,out just not on the ice. Kayak, canoe, small boat or just from shore. Remember a bad day fishing is better than most other efforts.

When I walked into the house last night (10pm) it felt balmy!
May get some skim ice on the bays tonight if the wind cooperates but I don't see fishable ice in the near future.

Just ordered some fly tying tackle.Going to tye some deer hair jigs and maybe hit the open water at prairie creek on some sunken brushpiles soon!😉
