Just found this, and pretty sure the insulated version of this shelter is new: https://www.sportsmansguide.com/product/index/shappell-fx150i-1-man-flip-over-ice-shelter?a=2209257

Personally, after all the issues I had with the FX100I last year, I don't ever plan on buying one of their products again, but technically this is a new product this year, so thought I would share...

Oooh, I like the looks of that suit.

Yep, me too. Going to check them out at the St. Paul Ice Show in Dec. and probably buy a set there.

Kenders released their version of a hard body lure. Smallest one on the market they are saying. I like the treble hook, the eurotackle z vibes are nice but have wondered about swapping out the single hook. https://www.kendersoutdoors.com/collections/k-rip

Right? Making two sizes smaller than the 1" z viber, that 1/2" is going to be so small. Could work good though.

I’ve got a new pair of alpaca wool fingerless gloves for the upcoming season. They were sold on eBay by the Alpaca Collection, out of Miami, Florida. Who would know more about winter gear than a Floridian?

I'll be buying some too, I'm a sucker for small baits like those. I heard rapala may be coming out with a smaller ultra light rippin rap too!

Trying a new tip-up I came across, Forest City Trap. It will be odd one out on an experimental basis this year. Used a Indian Hill Trap for 2 seasons, but don’t see any promising activity for future purchases when needed. Using 40 Up Tip-ups purchased from JC Penny years ago when they had a sporting goods department for snow cover and Polars for when the surface is glass as my go to traps.

Had my first go at them last weekend and they worked great! Surprising how quickly they drop being plastic and weighted with lead. Action was great, thinking they are gonna be a hot lure for me this season! Threw that single hook they come with away. Sorry Eurotackle, the single hook is garbage.
Da Pack!
