Wow, that's amazing. Been open water since the end of March.

Paxon is still locked up as far as I know. Just got back from Louise this afternoon. Very low water and ice on the shore in places.

We are pretty much ice free. Defiantly the earliest I’ve ever seen it, the ice came off almost two week ago.

Folks been fishing tomcod in OTZ for over a week.
Tested ice thickness on tundra lake on penninsula 8.5"
Selawik village reports 5.5" by the US Post Office.
