Title: Wawayanda lake safe ice?

Just wondering has anyone checked out Wawayanda lake lately. Just wondering if there’s safe ice?

guys were fishing it at some point recently, but it's a bit far for me to check on a whim.

Thanks for the info. I think I’m going to try and fish it this Saturday. I’ll post my findings if I go.

ok thanks, i'd like to get up there but don't want to drive all that way to find crappy ice conditions.  I'd be interested in good ice over that first deep water going by the island  ;D

Ice is thick enough to fish around the second island just be prepared for the wind. It can brutal at times, no problem if you have a popup shelter.

Already posted was there wed 9-10" ice.Have to pick your line on to it.Shore is a little soft but that was wed.

How is the ice condition on lake Wawayanda? Is there shoreline holding up? Anyone with information I will gladly appreciated.
