New guy here, palmyra ny

I'm new and just wanted to say howdy to everyone.  Also was wondering if there were many users in my area.  Well good luck to all out there on the ice, and stay safe.

Hi New Guy,

Welcome aboard.I used to own a home in Palmyra a few yrs back.You've got Honeoye,Sodus,Port Bay,Conesus,Canandaigua.Back in the sixties we used to go to Sandy Ponds for some wicked Jack perch catches. 90 miles one way every weekend.Gas was a little cheaper then.I guess I would be considered an old guy at 64 but where I live now Lake George isn't to far & the fishing is usually hot.Good luck

Welcome to th shanty. Lots of good stuff here. Don't be afraid to ask questions. By the way. I live in Newark. Just down the road and RGFIXIT lives in Macedon/Walworth area.

It is pronounced Mickey D    Like the resturante mickey d's    Because my last name is McDonald.  Got the nickname in highschool.
