Title: lost support bracket for single tank top heater

I have a Mr. Heater single tank top unit.  This summer I seemed to have misplaced the support bracket.  Has this happened to anyone?  I called and to get a replacement shipped will cost close to $40.  I'm wondering if anyone has fashioned their own and if they have any tips or suggestions.  Thanks.
