Def was a great day on the King.  Got tangled up with 4 Lakers while jigging for Perch.  Then tied into one with the Laker pole.  Kept a 24.5.  Ended up 2 for 5 with two lost at the hole.  Buddy landed a 31 on his Perch rig.  Sorry, no pics.  Awesome Salmon, Mealworm!

had a banner day today, first thing in the am set tip ups for salmon then set up to jig perch,by 11:30 i was at my limit so i went out deeper to try for lakers, ended up with 4 all together, then had a flag and got this 27", 7lbs salmon.all in all a great day on the ice despite the snow, all fish except the perch of course were released

I was up at log bay yesterday, all open water as far as I could see toward Dome and tongue, fished Knapp estate 3 hours marked many fish on bottom at times would sneak up 6 inches and peek at jig, drop back down.  4:30 to almost dark caught perch on every drop, brought home 25 9-11 inchers, almost all caught in one hole 30 minutes...no sizes caught about 30 total and left before dark....Barebow :icefish:

all in all it was a great day out there at huletts landing except when i tried to leave, I had to spin my tires and whip the wheel back and forth just to get up the mountain, huletts is a great  spot to fish and is very picturesque, I could have just sat there all day and took in the view. was any of the people out there members on this site if so, i would love to hear about your day.

There are places to launch for free, I know you have to get a LG permit for your boat, but those boats bring invasive species to the lake & it coast money to clean them up, like the Asian Clam. As for hardwater, no fees except for the fishing license & every state has them. I'm not trying to get you to come back, go ahead & stay away give us locals more space to fish. ;D
& I'm headed out again today. :woot:

Well now that you've officially broken the ice. ( pun intended ) you can ask other members about how to launch a boat in the king with an rv.  They might tell you that it's not possible... Alota good things on this site. And it's nice to contribute instead of just lurking, might meet some cool people, like this guy mealworm. Nice fish Logan.. Did your knees shake when you got the first glimpse?
thanx Andy! and well everyone else!yeah the heart really got going the first time he flashed the hole and i realized what i had on the line, really didn't get "fish fever" btill i had her on the ice.yes i'm gonna have a replica mount done. the fishin really turned on yesterday have to stay with my son today i may bring him down to see icewanderer for a bit today before i have to pick up my daughter from school.good luck everybody who gets a chance to fish today,i'll be back at again tmrw and the rest of the week
