Title: New to South Central MA
Post by: mccabedoug on Nov 14, 2005, 07:31 PM
Moved to Douglas, MA, during the spring from Lancaster, MA.  Nearby lakes are Wallum and Webster.  Any tips for places to fish for salmon/trout on Wallum and/or northerns on Webster?  Both are fairly big bodies of water so any tips would be appreciated.  Here's hoping for cold temps.

Welcome to the area... don't know about Wallum, but I've fished Webster Lake many times.... Try hitting Bates Point, caught a nice 31" pike in 3 to 4 feet there.  Also try the Pump House area near the town beach.  There is also another small boat ramp on South Pond by Gore road.

Just be careful going through the narrows as they take a while to freeze due to the current, you always here of someone each year going through.
