Pull up shelter dimensions
« on: Dec 06, 2010, 06:52 PM »
When a clam or frabill print the dimensions of their sleds of their shelters. Is the sled length measured from the top(longest) or the bottom of the sled. I have an older jeep cherokee and I am trying to figure out what pop up I can fit in. Thanks

I don't have an exact answer but I had a prowler GT that just barely fit in my Jeep Cherokee. It was listed as 61 inches long. I think that means the length of the sled but don't take my word on it. I sold it so I can't go and measure..

Ya that sounds about right, I measured mine at about 62-63 inches. Thanks Tainterslayer

I just picked up a clam 2000 and it folds up to 3' x 4'    4" or so thick. 45 #   that should slide in behind the seats
