Ice on Great Bay
« on: Dec 06, 2007, 01:00 PM »
Ran out during my lunch break and stopped by over at Lenny's.  Walked down to the water and snapped some pics of the ice.  Not bad considering we are only in the first week of December, hopefully with the cold weather predicted for most of the month, we will be in there soon.

Doabbs - Great photos ;D

This may prove to be like the good old days. Fishing the G-Bay before Jan 1. Just picked up my new red glow jigs at Cabelas in CT. The smelt will love' em.

Fishing the G-Bay before Jan 1.
It would be nice to squeeze a couple more smelts out on my 2007 license.  I looked at it during lunch and saw that I didn't even pick one up last year until February 2nd!  I'm glad I made a truck size path with the snowblower to the shanty.  Now I've got to get through that list of improvements I have to lighten the thing.  Also got to upgrade the skids as they got chewed up in the ice at the end of last year.
