I was called to work at 4am... Climb on the train, run down the track a ways, hit a red signal and STOP. After a few minutes of waiting and deciding we were going to sit there awhile, I bust out an In-Fisherman mag, and my partner pops out a Dakota! "Here lemme show you sumpin'!"

When my "honey-do's" are done!

Generally around turkey day plus or minus. This year I plan on hitting some higher mountain lakes hopefully first part of November.

Gamb00ler, definately get some Hali's. For deep water fishing, they are the best jig out there!

I like the 25 and the 35. the 50's are nice in really deep water, but the chains are too long and they get tangled up. But if your fishing 40' or less, you will be fine with the 2 smaller sizes.

No, but it was 38 deg when I got in the truck! 64 and counting down. Boy you're living right Oyler, take pictures for us! I'm going to New Wall lake tomorrow for some bass action. I took second there at our club tournament this year.

Midwest Bass Busters. They are out of Philip. They were a 5 member club, but our local ABA club got too expensive, and then folded. So me and another guy from the ABA club got together with one of the Philip guys and now the club has about 25 guys. I haven't fished but 1 or 2 tournaments a year because my Mrs. developed some health issues and I don't go to the overnighters. Can't wait to hear what big thing they are talking about at your expo!

Now I'm curious! Anyway, 63 days to go. I went to Wall this morning. Caught a 2.5, a 3.8, and a few smaller bass. My buddy caught a 9lb pike. All in all a pretty good day on the water.

62 Days Boys!! Being at the Thorne Bros show sure got me jonesing for the ice really bad now. I will post pics later of the "big" thing later. All I can say now, is that it is the pending Guinness Book of World Record. And it's called Tip-A-Saurus Rex.

I'm at a loss fer words........yep, 62 and counting down! Almost close enough to say 2 months. You know, Oyler, reading about how you are getting a Pro TC (earlier post) is making me think a little more about getting one myself. There's really no other way to get a little more room than my Scout without adding another 25 lbs.
