I recently acquired a Frabil Ice Shuttle with poles but no windbreak. I'd like to fabricate on with in inexpensive tarp basically as a tryout. any suggestions as to how to secure the folds to make the sleeves for the poles?

how about some PVC clamps ...looks to come in multiple sizes . Funny thing I found these while looking for something else and fell down the rabbit hole .

You may want to set it up and the pop rivet them to the conduit.

Lay it out flat & fold over 1". , gorrilla tape. the seam & seal w/ flexspray.
( 2 coats).
That's been my go to for years on shanty repairs & it out lives the shack.

The shuttle has a 3 inch fold over there is one in Syracuse on CL with sled and windbreak for 35
