i would assume open, most of the lakes around here have just barely froze over because of all the warm weather weve been having

TD, I'd recommend checking out the conditions and reports board for info on Swan or any other lake. You can post to Swan, etc asking for an update there, where this board is, I believe, geared more toward questions/posts that aren't about conditions, etc.
