Have used a Showdown the last three seasons and love it.

Santa brought me a LX-9 this year ;D, and I already love it as well.

I had the Marcum vX-1 and now have an LX-5, both are outstanding units.  I would highly recommend getting something with the zoom feature.  I believe that the vx1-pro is the cheapest flasher available that includes the zoom feature.  There is no wrong answer, any flasher will significantly increase your catch rate which to me justifies paying the extra money.

As everyone says, they are all great. When you can see your 1/100 ounce jig in 50' of water and can tell when your bait is gone, what else do you need? Not more sensitivity.
