I buy all of my ice fishing and summer bass fishing stuff here. Ed the owner is a very good guy, if he doesn't have it, he will get it.

Ed's top notch and like you say... If he does not have it he can get it. And its not two months later... My vote also.

Old Town bait and tackle here in Saginaw has been my favorite the last few years.  Their hours can be a bit irregular at times.. but they seem to get it together for each ice season.. and the young guy that runs the place gives great counts.

Gllettes on gun lake is a great little shop. They're overpriced on tip ups and some other things, but I picked up an 8" lazer there last year for $50. Just gotta catch em when they're feeling generous. They've also got quite a selection of live baits as well as jigs, pre tied quick strikes, and about everything you could ever want. Pilgrims village in Cadillac is also a great shop with a huge selection.

Pilgrims village Cadillac

always a treat to walk in there even tho it's the tiniest shop i've been in

the eyes have it just south east of tustin michgan (east leroy) is very similar, but slightly bigger

the lady owner made us laugh out loud one time when she told us how they tournament fish and use gamma line. she says she had to walk half way back to the lure before the line would snap. that was her reply when we asked about gamma line when it first came out

I like Brenner's because there a simple baut shop but they don't have everything equipment wish and can run a touch more but some stuff is competitive
Bait good minnows and have found some of the biggest waxes worms I've seen depending on what they get. I have gotten free 3 dozen because they were getting old. Which doesn't happen often.
Good people never steer ya wrong
Got to keep these small local bait shops going I'll spend my extra dollar for that reason

I like the Grand River Bait and Tackle in Lansing. They have a good selection of bait as well as lures of all colors . They are not as big as Knutsons  but are very much fishermen .
