Birch Lake (Cass Co.)
« on: Jan 30, 2011, 03:14 PM »
Fellow Fishers: Wife and I fished Birch Lake this morning for the first time. Got the lines wet and bam, a nice bass followed by a keeper gill. Thought we had something going. Fished in 28' alittle west of the landing, augar rope(Power) went to H--L so we dind't get to move around. Wife caught a couple bass, great fun. Stayed around till noon. Didn't seem like anything was realling going on for the others fishing, slow day. Talked with a few guys, they said the lake is really good to fish, we'll surely be back. Tried to find the Dowagiac Dangler in his black shanty, visited all black shanties except for the two across the lake with a atv and snowmobile without meeting Glen, he must have stayed home. Will hook up someday. Good Fishing To All.
Wishing You All Straight Shooting, Tight Lines and a Limit of Fun
