Long way for 3 perch.

But still better than working! ;D
Me and Bro went perch fishing. We also managed to catch a couple.  1st day I had 1 bite 1 fish. Bro had several bites 1 fish. Tim had several bites no fish.
2nd day at a nearby lake me and Bro each had many hits, I got 1 pig  perch. Next biggest perch was 7.5". (Almost kept it)got some slimers, a pickle pike, and many runt perchies.


My best of season: 13.5" @ 1.40lbs.

Yah not bad like a 3.5 hr. drive 1-way. We stayed one night so that was better. Fished this same lake 3 times in 3 weeks. 1st trip 20 perch. 2nd trip 7 perch. 3rd trip 1 perch. Full moon? Pressure? Rising water? (+4 ft.) Who knows- ???

Wow I was only joking about 1 perch on CF...lol you need to unretire and get your sense of urgency back!...wow you know where in town is fishing better than 220 miles away!...that aint right!!!

Nice fishin with ya again, everyone needs a good skunking now and then!  Out of my four trips: 20 fish, then 12, then 6 then 0. Ill take the hint and fish elsewhere :'(  luckily elsewhere has decent crappies and is 70 miles closer ;D

On the brite side I got a milwaukee fuel m18 today to power my move into the world of electric hole punching, pretty excited! :clap:

Quality over quantity. Don’t feel too bad, two of my buddies that have won perch division of a previous big tournament there got skunked 2 weeks ago. Rapid rising water muddies it up pretty good. Gonna try for pike n crappie on that second lake next weekend. That’s the best way to stumble onto a 14” pig perch there, Lol. BTW, that’s a deep sow, Slayer.

Have you try to down size to small jig and bait, it work for me last year and couple year before too,,

Yes if they wont take a #16 nymph w/small waxie on the deadstick I have nothing left to offer!! :'(  Thats as finesse as I get.
