How was the fishing today?  How much of a crowd will the tourney draw tomorrow?  I'm headed out tomorrow but if it too busy I think we'll head over to Jenny's and try that...

Fishing wasn't too bad today.  Fished from about 830-1.  Brought home 12 good sized perch.  there were a lot of people on the lake today, there will be even more tomorrow.  There are always plenty of places to fish on sheridan, but if I were you, i'd head to Pac if I were you.  Many full size vehicles on the ice today as well.

We fished from 8:30 to 1 today, the lake was fairly busy but not too bad.  We only caught a few small perch over by the swim beach.

yeah, it didn't seem nearly as crowded as it usually does when 140+ extra people converge on it... fishin seemed to be a bit slow for most to everyone though ???

Not enough ice or time... not necessarily in that order.

Fished Saturday with some success. We caught about 20 perch and kept 8. Biggest perch was 11". Early in the day they were taking teardrops. Later on in the day they were hitting marmooskas and hali jigs. The ice is plenty thick enough. The game warden drove up to us in his dodge 1500 to check our licence.

Who's heading out to Sheridan tomorrow for the tourney???  I'll be out with my wife and 2 daughters, hopefully catch a fish or 2!!  If you see a red 5 gal pale with the Arkansas Razorback on it that'll be us, come say hi!

Yeah I'd like an auger too!  Mine is at least 30yrs old, a new Strikemaster or Jiffy would be a nice upgrade..
