Any safe ice left up north that holds burbot? I’d love to catch my first.

I fished Willoughby last Friday and there was about 5-6 inches of ice in most places but also some open spots.  I doubt its safe after this past weekend's rain.

I've tried 3 years in a row (not this year) at Willoughby near the launch and have managed one around 15". Would really like to get into some bigger ones one of these years.

Willoughby is all done. The shore has broken up and there is open water in spots.  Normally this time of year, fishing right off the access or the North Beach you can catch some nice big ones.  Seymour has some but not sure how the ice is there. Most places now the shore has broken up.
