I measured about 7.5" on Fern lake yesterday and heard there are 4" on the north end of Dunmore.

I drove by Dunmore today and on the south half around the island was about six shanties and what looked like a pick up truck!

How has the fishing been on Monkton Pond?  I tryed Shelburne Pond last week, had the camera and never even put a line in the water.. . . . .

I fished Monkton Pond in early December and didn't get a flag.... If you go there in March though you will have tons of fun catching huge largemouth and Pike up to 4-5 pound, although I hear there are some bigger ones in there.

8" off the west side of North Hero in Alburgh Passage.  About the same in Dillenbeck just up the road.  Am. Legion runs a fishing derby this weekend so there's going to be lots of activity around the Champlain Islands.  Seems to be plenty of pike being caught, too.
