We set 12 tipups and fished for about 8 hours catching a bunch of pickerel from about 12" to 20".  Also caught a bunch of yellow perch, mostly really small with one decent one.  I was hoping for something good.  Does anyone know much about this place?  I was hoping for at least one pike.

I fished it once when I lived in St. J. Caught mostly pickerel some purch and a small smallmouth. A couple of my fishing budies have fished it twice this year but they did not find any pike either.

I'm heading up 2ND week in Feb. thanks for the report, how thick was the ice? Is there a locale bait shop or bait shop near by?

There was about a foot of ice.  I used the bait shop in Saint Johnsbury.  There is another one in Maidstone.  Check for bait shop listings on the Vermont Fish and Wildlife page.  Good luck.
