Title: Another great day ice fishing

25", 29" and a 33" lake trout.  My buddy took the 25".  What a different contrast of flesh color.

Wow, so the darker skinned laker had the more orange meat?
Neat to see. I have never compared one to another, but have always kinda noticed lake trout meat to be lighter colored then rainbow trout or brook trout for example, sometimes spring salmon and white meat and some are orange meat, im not too sure why.. some nice looking fillets..

It was too cold outside but I did it anyway.  Had to finish in the oven.  This was 2 7-8lb lake trout.
