Day 1 Lavaman 1st flag 1st fish! Nice C&R, day 2 hopping! Not too bad out here. Linguini biggest salmon so far, 5 salmon, 2 togue, 1 cusk so far. Day 3 I got the brookie honey hole with 3 so far, Harry with a togue and biggest salmon, Linguini puts another salmon on the board. Few cusk and togue for lavaman and Bigassbass man. We got a film crew following us around...gorgeous day on the big lake
Day 4 Saturday Jrelaxin with the fish of the trip 4# 22# fighter, Walrus with a nice 21", Lavaman on a nice brookie. Mass Pike with a 200 yard of line togue.Heading home now, great trip.

I fished from 1 am until 9 am right there off Rockwood boat launch, 4 cusk, 1 salmon, 1 togue
Nothing big but fun still the same

We were just up there 2/21-2/24. My 8 year old son's first trip to Moosehead ice fishing. We didn't catch many fish but made lots of memories... Enjoy!

So far, so good! Beautiful country up here, great trip so far. Slayed the cusk today on the jig rods. Chowda tomorrow!
The group got some nice salmon on traps today, Lava got a nice togue on the jig rod.

Prime rib from jrelaxin and Moosehead cusk chowder from Lavaman on the last night. Great food from shrinkage and all the others, too. Now that’s some great ice fishing food! What an amazing expedition for some Colorado boys out in Maine. Thanks to Linguini and all the others for a great time and being great hosts!

Homeward bound, hate to leave. We had a great crew and the fishing, the grub and the company were all excellent. Thank you Dave and Dave, Jon, James, Kevin, Josh, Nate, Harry and Stewart. Save me spot for next year!

Great fishing with you guys, and glad to see you got fish later in the trip. I'm disappointed I had to leave early, but I arrived home in time to save the food. Got to feed the generators for almost three days, power came back not long ago. Maybe a Moosehead do-over is in store next year. :tipup:

Great to have all the pics and report from this trip. Seems like all the talk is about the trip happening but it never has seemed to be much made of how it went in recent years since I have been on the shanty. Good job Shrinkage on the pics and updates. Congrats to all who caught the fish. Looks great.

Linguini prematurely gave me the shanty panties. I showed him. I caught all 4 species. Hahaha IM THE BIG DEAL. I found out im gonna need some acting lessons if im going to further my acting career. It was great to meet some new faces and reacquaint with some old ones. Getting together with friends, sharing good food, and taking in the beauty is what it's all about. I'm already looking forward to next yr. Cuskadoooooo

I know you enjoyed your visit to Mikes pastry shop in Boston and I hope you had a great flight back. I miss fishing with you and I know we will fish together again soon. Colorado or bust.

Thanks, Stuart -- great fishing with you!! And thanks for taking us out on the ice those first two days. Glad you got your power back at home. Yeah, those 1 oz glow PK lures are my new favorite...they were killing it out there.

For sure Kevin, my wife was so jealous when she saw the seafood pics and the Mike's pastry, lol. That extra cannoli didn't even make it on the plane. ;D
I'll be in touch about early ice out here in Colorado for next season --- maybe some grayling, arctic char, kokanee salmon, and native cutthroat trout to cross of your list!
