river walleyes in winter

Is there any recommendations on how to set traps on a river for walleye? I'm worried that the current wont let me keep my bait close to the bottom? Also if i used more weight, they will just drop it? Anyone out there have some ideas. If so pictures of a setup would be nice! Thanks

so maybe like a 3 way with about 2 feet going down to a bell sinker just barely on the bottom, and 2 feet going out to the bait? If i did it like this, than hooking the minnow through the moth would be best? to keep it facing the current.
