Smoke lake

Anyone been to Smoke Lake by Fox creek lately? Last year was real good until the snow made the lake impossible to get on. There used to be Whitefish in there over 15 lbs and lots of Walleye and some nice Pike. Thinking of heading that way on the weekend but i'd hate to go and not be able to access the fishing spots. Let me know, so I can go. Thanks guys!

I haven`t been there yet.  Likely there would be some good trails the locals are using, but I wouldn`t be driving off them!  You don`t have to walk very far off the boat launch to catch fish.  There is also a road around to the back side where you could get out to the sw point from a lease. If there is a lot of snow though it would be tough slugging.  Why not call F&W in fox creek, I think they still have a small office there. If not call Whitecourt.
