quickflip II tornout sled
« on: Oct 30, 2007, 12:47 AM »
Did not follow instructions about putting the plastic runners on my quickflip II and now I need a new sled, was looking at the otter line up of sleds and see if they have one close to the size of the trashed one,or what do you do for a torn out bottom, don't really want to use a quickflip seems kinda flimsy. Thanks Steve

I bought a quickflip 1 about 4 years ago and the sled was very flimsy. I ended up putting a piece of 3/8" painted plywood in the bottom. I also put some old downhill ski's on the bottom. I just put the screws through the plywood and into the top of the ski's to hold them in place. That was the first flipover I bought. It has since been sold and now I have an Otter. You gotta love how strong those otter sleds are made.
