Any ideas for a 1 man shanty build?
« on: Feb 05, 2015, 04:42 PM »
Hi, I wanted to build a shanty just for me(4X4X5h), that is light weight and portable and that i can moved from hole to hole. I like the idea of the shappell bayrunner, but not the price, and i want it to have solid walls and be able to put ski's on it. I was thinking like Styrofoam or paneling for the walls. Any ideas and pics would be great...thanks
it's all fun and games till somebody looses a walleye!!

I just posted a new topic.  Check out my smitty-flip. Smitty+hard sled+shelter all in one.
I was able to keep the build price under that of the low end frabil one-man flip overs.

PM me if you have any questions, or want to talk through designs.

I almost have as much fun designing and building these things as I do using them.
Good luck with your project
