Saturday had me speechless... New ice PB

It’s been a deep freeze up here in Saskatchewan so we’ve been hunkered down in the shacks pretty good. The fishing has been slow as expected in -30 to -40c but saturday was exceptional. Around 10am this 31” 10.38lb stopped by the shanty to say hello. A couple pictures and back down the hole. I felt like my luck was over and any other fish was just a bonus. 30mins later a big mark showed up and WHAM! 32” and 12.58lbs! New ICE PB!

My dad caught a 12  1/4# walleye once, but I don't remember it looking that big. That last fish is awesome. Congrats.

Don't have walleye where I'm from but any freshwater fish that breaks 30" and let alone 2 is a great fish! congrats on a killer day -30 or not
