Are any of you laker slayers getting out Sunday?
I'll buy bait and lunch for lessons.  ;D

i'd say anywhere from 12"-24". again it was passable @ 2pm today. I got off the machine and walked up and found a spot that was flat and about 12" at most and then just drove across with a little speed.

stuffs all packed. trying for those darn lakers yet again this weekend. JW I know fish307s hours are listed as opening at 6 but do they open a little earlier on the weekends? seems when I get there at 6 they've been open for a little while already? Just want to get on the ice as early as possible tomorrow.

Nice day out there, fun to meet all the guys as well.  One keeper laker, 5lbs, 2 shorts 21-22".  Multiple misses.  Can't believe how much fun it is jigging these fish with electronics.

Great day fishing with the "Centurion 100" Club! Not quite the fury of last weekend but the great camaraderie made up for the slower bite! A little Hair Raising adventure getting off the ice with the wheeler trying to find safe passage across the pressure ridge that formed across the bay.  Had to change my rubber underwear after gunning the quad to clear the Abyss!  Walking out tomorrow! LOL! Great seeing and fishing with old and new friends!

Good luck tomorrow Bruthas!

Mike

I believe you'd have to go back to the village, there is a Super 8 on Rt. 9 across from the Stewarts.

Never caught a laker but plan on hitting Lake George some time in the next 2 weeks. I heard they don't taste very good. How big is to big to eat? If I was to catch one I'd only keep good eaters, or one for the wall...Thanks

i think they taste pretty good...............i baked a 24 incher a couple weeks ago.

olive oil in baking dish with lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, pepper, italian seasoning, bay leaves, fennel seed. baked about 40 minutes then last 5 sprinkled parmesan cheese over it.
