I know it's gonna be a little chilly today but with my new RV parked on the ice out in front of MDB it will be comfortable. Especially with the 12 in floor ports available, 4 burner stove for the chile, grilled cheese burgs & hot chocolate & of course the football playoffs (Buffalo Bills) on tv bring it on

Checked off Fort Ann beach... middle all open. Those howling winds last night ripped open even more of the lake.   Maybe if it stays calm tonight....

This could be all it takes the surface isgoing to be super cooled with the temps and wind tonight if the wind lies down for a couple hours I could see a lot of the unfrozen sections buttoning up then.

Sorry I'm staying overnight after jerkin perch today. This cold weather really accelerates the dementia

What's the word? The wind destroy the ice? Looking to get out around Diamond pt in the am , any updates would be very much appreciated.
Be safe!

Can one access the lake from Sheppard Park?
Where can one get on the lake at Diamond Point, drove around today looking for parking and couldn't figure where there?

As far as I know it is only a small portion that is frozen still.  The wind may have taken more ice in the past couple of days.

Looking at coming up from the 19th to the 21st for my first time ever, probably going out of mdb the first day and trying to figure something out. I’d like to stay in touch with somebody just to know ice conditions and how the fishing is. Gonna set up mostly for lakers and maybe a few for salmon. I just don’t want to book anything with this rain coming in until after next weekend

Checked off Ft Ann beach, ice has far as I could see... just went in last night but as long as the wind doesn't get crazy it should be making ice.

There was six inches of solid, clear ice when I was out off Huletts early last week.  I bet there's a foot there now...

Tight lines,
Bob
