Really cool footage and nice edit. I am way overdue in getting a pole mount for my GoPro so I can get some of those underwater shots. Does your buddy know the brand of that pole?  Thanks!

I bumped into yours the other day!  Great laker motivation!

I fished vets yesterday and had no problem crossing the pressure crack. No wet spots and completely frozen and most snow had blew off the water.    Stick close to the big island there is a low spot in the ice chunks that's almost flat.    It was after 1pm by the time I made it, iced one and had lot of chasers, I'm talking screamers but they just wernt eating.
I'll always ❤️

Was out with a buddy catching perch today and he caught a surprise 19" salmon. That's the third one I know of this year that has been caught like that. I never bother with salmon tipups I might need to start throwing a few in this year.

I was lucky enough to score a cisco over the weekend in an odd way. I made my way to a drunken groups area after they left to pick up the tipup line and cig butts they left behind. I appreciate the english lesson they provided for the 5 kids I had out there with me. I also appreciate the cisco they left with the pile of trash.
I sunk the cisco on a tipup in 10fow while I jigged perch. I was kind of hoping for a decent pike, but didn't cry over seeing our largest trout this year. Instant gratification in it's finest for right here.

Was out at PK yesterday. I didn't measure but I would guess 7-8". Pressure cracks all over. 1 right outside the bay. Heading south a couple more. Nasty ice quakes. Had me about running for the hills once. :o

I'd love to see a picture of that one! With all the smelt they're eating, I'm sure it made for a great pic.

Another good day.  I put my buddy on his first ever laker, a nice chunky 26" that had been attacked by a pike recently.  The bite mark measured over 8" wide.  I would love to catch that pike!!! Might need to find some bigger bait though. Lol.  As for myself, I put my second 30"+ laker of the year on the ice along with a 25".  The 30" was skinny at just over 7lbs.  All came on the tip ups.

i hope this snow isn't too bad to drag a sled in.  Maybe it's blowing around on the lake but queensbury has a nice layer of fresh snow

Gonna miss that black ice for a few reasons.

Which 2 man . Pull over, would you recommend for walking.
I like being mobile. But don't want to have a heart attack.
Thanks.
I have a 1 man now. Just want to be able to invite a friend once in awhile.

Clam two man is awesome, it stinks loading and unloading into the SUV but I pack a ton of stuff ( that will change this weekend with the snow) I'll report back after I drag it in the snow.  It seems ok in snow in the backyard though, it could a few more Inches of lip on the front for sure.

Might not have to worry much about snow other than bays.  Not much fell last night.  I think once the winds get cranking it'll blow most off the main lake.

My fingers are crossed.  It's light snow, but not as light as the last one.  But figure 20 to 30 mph winds should move it.
