Title: Long lake, Washburn county
Post by: bjacks50 on Jan 24, 2017, 10:32 AM
Gonna be heading up there this Saturday for a mix bag of panfishing and walleye.  This will be the first time I've fished this lake, anyone able to give me some general recommendations? Not looking for anyone's honey holes just some general help.

Thx!

I've had good luck in the narrows for crappy.  Have not fished the lake in many years though.

I fished it Saturday.  Fishing was pretty tough since we are in this low pressure system that is hanging around.  Caught one 17" walleye and a few crappies on some cribs.  Walleye came in 14' of water and crappies were in 25'.

Found out an SUV went through in front of Lincolnwood last night and the driver died. Ice is a little sketchy with the warm weather we've had and the water on top making holes.

They said he was near the dam on the south end.
