Shrimp for bait?
« on: Feb 26, 2019, 01:36 AM »
Has anyone successfully used shrimp for walleye bait? I've used small/medium cooked shrimp successfully when stillfishing for rainbow trout and was wondering if it would also work on walleye. Never tried raw uncooked shrimp before, would that work better?
Thanks in advance!

I have only used uncooked pieces of shrimp for trout this year.   The lake I fish has brook bows and browns.  For some reason I have only caught brook trout on raw shrimp? And it does fall off the hook pretty easy.  But no I have not tried it for walleyes yet.  Let us know if it works.
The only time I learn something is when I'm not talking.
