Title: Garmin Striker 5 Interference
Post by: Mudcat1003 on Jan 29, 2024, 10:11 AM
Hey I’m having issues with my fish finder.  The screen has a lot of interference and only does this after fishing for a couple hours. Has anyone run into this issue or know how to fix it? In the picture you can see that it makes it hard to use. I thought there might be some updates for this unit on the garmin website but these are designed to be update free

Garmin Striker 5 ice bundle.

Have you tested your battery? Mine starts acting like that when my battery is dying.

That was going to be my suggestion (battery issue). If no one is using another unit right next to you, then you shouldn't be getting any interference that would be that bad.
