Anyone every fish with an underwater camera on Cascade? Just curious if water clarity and light are good enough to even make a camera a useful tool.

More of a novelty to keep the kids interested. But the last time I was out, we weren't seeing anything on the fish finder, and I dropped the camera down a nearby hole and saw a decent perch a few feet away... so then that we knew they were there, it motivated us to fish a bit more agressively, and eventually caught a few.

I have a camera and it is fun to see what kind of structure is under the ice. Best if used inside a shanty because the light reflecting off the snow causes a glare.
Most of the newer cameras have a infrared light so you can see in the dark.
I use my Marcum flasher more than a camera and if I had to choose I would invest in a flasher first.
