Some one said they drove by and all the ice that was there is gone or broken up.

I’ve heard similar stories that I thought were urban legends until one of my friends neighbors who lives up there had that happen to him.  Said he was so freaked out he crawled back to shore on his hands and knees and just left his stuff out there.

One of the most unpredictable bodies of water in the state for many reasons! With the weather patterns the way they are, might think about fishing another body of water.

That lake is crazy scary I’ll never ice it seen to many people fall thru there

I’ll go to King Soopers for fish before I go out on death ice. Going through the ice wouldn’t be fun and one could probably get out if you keep a level head or have a buddy but if a current drags you under the ice that’s a very bad way to go....NO THANKS.

Ice fished it once.    A big gust of wind hit the ice where I was fishing at, I felt the ice heave and raise like a few inches from where I was at and that was enough for me.    Hard pass on that bulls**t.
