Trout Dough

Yes I used the search bar, but could not find a suitable answer. Have any of you uses the berkley trout dough to tip spoons or jigs for lakers? If so, what were the results?

Also, how would you rig a tip up with trout dough on its own for browns or bows?

I don't think it'd stay on a spoon well.  I have stuffed tube jigs with it and that works well.  I've never had much luck with power bait on lakers. Might be able to use some spawn sack material to make a bag for the dough?   As far as the tip up I normally tie three snelled  hooks to several feet of leader, about a foot apart . Weight it with just enough split shot at the bottom to get it down, bait with your three favorite colors.
