Andy's Red n Great Value Chicken coatings
« on: Jan 11, 2013, 02:22 PM »
Ran out of a package of Andy's with a few fillet left.  I grabbed my pouch of chicken coating and poured it in shake bag. Not too bad at all.  I suspect mixing a pouch of the chicken in a bag of Andy's will be magical.

Now I need some more fillets.....

i tried shake-n-bake with fish once and it turned out pretty good. it seems that pretty much any coating will work with fish especially if it works with chicken. Heck, i even rolled fillets once in cream of mushroom soup then breadcrumbs and fried them up, boy were they good ;D
That's a Bluegill, no that's a Sunfish...I've heard it both ways!!

When we bake fish we use Shake and Bake for chicken sometimes. We like it.

I took a pork roast yesterday, and rolled it in Crispy Shake 'n Bake that I had added black pepper, garlic, and rosemary to, and popped it in a low, slow oven for a couple hours. It was great.  :P
