Amount of line

I'm just wondering how much line people are using on there Pike tipups. I personal use Western Fillament 80lbs dacron line and put 75 yards.

As much as the spool will hold (mine hold 150yds).  Played plenty of pike that have spooled out over 50yds of line.

100 yrds minimum. Nothing worse than finally hooking into a fish of a lifetime only to get spooled b/c you didn't have enough line on your tip up. You would never forgive yourself if your anything like me. If you never get to the 100 yrd mark fighting a fish, that's great. But the one time you need it on a monster fish, you will want it there.
