Hey All!!

New guy here, been poke'n around for a bit, thought I'd say hi before the year ends and we still don't have ice :?(

I'm from Michigan, grew up fishing Saginaw Bay and all the lakes in the southern thumb area. I live in NYC now, yes we ice fish around here, it isn't all yuppies and Wall st. types!
 
Still got open water on our big reservoirs, was fishing for lakers and browns yesterday, tossing spoons. Hopefully soon we'll get some ice on the northern ponds and I'll get some crappie chase'n in.

I'll be heading up to VT soon for my annual Pike party, now they got ice!!!

Its good to see a good site about ice fishing. I personally think its getting to be the next "big thing".

Now for my next post...;)

Wow, you left Michigan to go to NYC ?? I'm sorry. Welcome to an ice (or is that a nice) site. Ask all the questions you want, there is a wealth of knowledge available to you.

Yep, welcome aboard.  This site is great thanks to Scott and a lot of hard working ice addicts.  They'll make you almost forget when you don't have ice...it's the next best thing to being out on the hardwater!

Hey Crash!!!  

I'm on LI, my ice buddy from NJ....been at it for over 40 yrs.  Not enough of us "down-staters" around....most of the guys are from way up North.

Stay in touch ... maybe we'll get together on some of the reservoirs and lakes in westchester, putnam, dutchess, etc......we go most weekends.

we're planning to hit the Whitney Point Derby this Jan 31....let us know if you're interested?

hey ...if you are into Lakers and Browns .....load up and head for Round Valley Reservoir .....not too far from the city....off rt 22 in Jersey
