Island ice 27th-28th

Just got back from the island. Headed out sun morn about 8 and was fishin by 8:30..The bite was hot,they were snappin...I fished till 11 and headed in..I pulled 14 through the hole..All were keeper size..I went back out at 3 and only cought 4..Eve bite was slow..I didn't mark 1 perch all day sun...All eyes...I think that's a first for me..Mon morn went back to the same spot and it was VERY slow..Only 1 keeper in the morn and perch were showing up..Went out at 3 and fished till 5 and only managed 2 more...What a difference a day makes...I was out about 1000yrds Twards rattle...the ice is in  good shape..I was on 9"  Mon guys were going everywhere with sleds quads even saw a argo..Ice should be 14-16 by sat...All my fish were 18-22"  Nice eaters...Cant wait till the weekend...greg
