Fished out of Blackhawk this past Sunday back in Lucys pond, ice was a solid 6-8 inches.  Me and a buddy got on some gills, best combo seemed to be a green glow tungsten tipped with a waxy in 4-5ft of water.

There were probably 15-20 shacks spread throughout the pond area when we got there around 9. Seemed like quite a few people were fishing back in the channel as well.

Thanks for response. In all honesty I don't know the lake, just know there is some decent fishing there on occasion, and looking for some good, safe ice, since the weather is not cooperating for Erie. Might make a road trip!

Can anyone tell me if there is good ice in the moundwood  channel or if they have seen anyone on it in the last couple days.  Thanks in advance..
