Buddy Heaters
« on: Nov 30, 2007, 03:34 PM »
I just ordered a remanufactured Big Buddy off Ebay ($99 w/ free shipping), but I already own the smaller one. I bought it because my daughter wants to start going, and my girlfriend gets cold real easy. I figured I will put a T on the tank to run both heaters, or one heater and the camp cook stove.  Anyone forsee any problems with a set-up like this?

depends on how u are running the propane through them....i know the buddy heaters u can run them off a 1lb bottle and im guessing the same with the camp stoves?but if ur gonna T it off im assuming u will be running it off of a 20lb tank?....shouldnt be any problem...just will use propane a lot faster is about all....

It should be fine as long as you are going to run them off of a big tank.

Ya, I forgot to mention I use a 20 pound tank. I looked at supplies to make a T, and I would have more $$ into it than just buying another tank.

I just bought a Big Buddy.  On the rack beside it was a regulator for a 20lb tank.  Probably worth the $$ for the peace of mind that your using something designed by the manufacturer
